Another Update

Recently, i have seen what my mom has been trying to tell me for a while, that what people think, or say about you, really doesn't matter. When I was in high school, i was all about trying to impress the popular people for some reason, i thought they were going to be my friends or treat me with the least amount of respect that i deserved. I was wrong, but now that I am out of high school, I have discovered that what you wear, or who you know, isn't all that important. It all matters what God thinks of you, and where you are with him.
I have also discovered that you aren't going to please everyone all the time, and somethings are going to offend someone at some point. In the words of my good friend, Jeannie Morgan, "use your words" and thats what i have decided to do. I am not going to go around purposefully offending people with what i say, but i am going to say what is on my mind, and if you get offended, big deal. I'm not trying to please anyone, and i don't really care what you say about me. The phrase so repeatedly said by little kids come to mind. "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" and its true, becuase if your saying those things about me, your obviously thinking about me. So i should be flattered, right??
