Grandpa Smuin

This post is for my Grandfather!! He is such an incredible man, and has done so much for this country, and for our family. I love you grandpa! I feel like everything happens for a reason, this Christmas/Semester break could not have came at a more appropriate time. I have got to spend so much time with my grandpa, that I never would have gotten to if I were stuck down at school. A couple days ago, my father called me, at midnight, and told me that my grandpa wanted me to come down and visit with him before he went to see his wife, which automatically made my heart melt. So I went down there, and sat in the chair that was right by his bead, and just sat there and he looked at me, with tears in his eyes and said "tybo, i love you" which was without a doubt the sweatest thing that my grandpa has ever said to me. I then returned with a "I love you too, grandpa" he nodded his head, and laid back down, all the while not letting go of my hand. then earlier today, my uncle Stephan, my father, and I were just sitting in his room, and he asked for my uncle, to give him a blessing, and then asked me too, which meant a lot to me, and it was my first time giving a blessing, and while I was giving my grandfather a blessing, I felt a hand on my shoulder that wasn't my fathers. It was my grandmothers. Whom I miss immensely. But, my grandfather is one of the most amazing, phenominal, outstanding men that I have had the privilege of knowing. When he goes, he will be missed, and it won't be the same here without him, but his wife and all of his family are anxiously awaiting his arrival, and are ready to meet him with open arms. I love you grandpa!!! You are a great man!!
